Assemblymember Steve Bennett and The Port of Hueneme, invites you to a family friendly Bike Rodeo and Resource Fair at Oxnard College to learn about bicycle safety and general wellness practices for living a healthy lifestyle.

This interactive event will help youth learn, practice and demonstrate their bicycle handling skills in a fun and educational atmosphere culminating in a community bike ride!

Bring your Helmet and Bike, or use a bike provided at the event, to enjoy:

• Helmet Fittings and Bicycle Inspections
• Safety Courses and Skills Competition
• Bike Mechanics and Engineering "Wrench It"
• Informational booths with community resources and programs
• Community Bike Ride around Oxnard College

Additionally, come connect with local organizations to learn about our region's wellness resources and programs serving our community.

Rodeo de Bicicletas y Feria de Recursos en Oxnard

El asambleísta Steve Bennett y el Puerto de Hueneme te invitan a un Rodeo de Bicicletas y Feria de Recursos familiar en Oxnard College para que aprendas sobre la seguridad en bicicleta y prácticas de bienestar para llevar un estilo de vida saludable.

Este evento interactivo ayudará a jóvenes a aprender, practicar y demostrar sus habilidades al manejar la bicicleta en un ambiente divertido y educativo, que culminará con un paseo comunitario en bicicleta.

Trae tu casco y tu bicicleta, o usa una bicicleta que te prestarán en el evento, para disfrutar de:

• Ajustes de casco y revisión de bicicletas
• Cursos de seguridad y competencia de habilidades
• Mecánica de bicicletas e ingeniería: "¡Arréglala tú mismo!"
• Mesas informativas con recursos y programas para la comunidad
• Paseo en bicicleta por los alrededores de Oxnard College

Además, ven y conéctate con organizaciones locales para conocer los recursos y programas de bienestar disponibles en nuestra región que sirven a nuestra comunidad.

Wear closed-toe shoes and sun protection (hat, sunblock). We highly recommend bringing your own gloves and reusable water bottle. You can sign a volunteer waiver online or on-site the day of.

Come with friends and family to clean up the beach, discuss relevant legislation and give back to our public lands. We will be cleaning the Ormond Lagoon area.
